Dr. Georg Krause
Dr. Georg Krause has a distinguished career in the IT and management consulting industry. Since May 2017, he has served as the CEO of msg Plaut, where he is responsible for the solutions and consulting business of the msg Group in Austria, CEE, and CIS. Previously, he held senior positions in various consulting firms, including Horváth & Partners, Steria Mummert, Deloitte Consulting, and SAP Consulting. From 2012 to 2015, at SAP Austria, he made significant contributions to the strategic realignment of the consulting business and sustainable profit growth.
Dr. Krause has also been actively involved in the digital industry association "Internetoffensive Österreich" as a board member and managing director for many years. Since 2012, he has been a lecturer at the Danube University Krems and serves as Program Director of the new Certificate Course "Leading Digital Organizations - From IT Management to Digital Leadership EMBA" of the Technikum Wien Academy. His commitment also includes a board position in the digital competence association fit4internet. Additionally, he holds the "Certificate in Governance of Enterprise IT" and is a "Certified Supervisory Expert."
Dr. Krause's extensive experience and recognition highlight his significant contributions to the IT and management consulting industry, as well as his commitment to advancing Digital Humanism in Austria. He is editor of the book "The Practice of Digital Humanism," published by Springer Verlag, which has received significant media attention. As a keynote speaker and media spokesperson, he actively promotes the principles of Digital Humanism. Dr. Krause also hosts a podcast on this subject, engaging with experts from business, academia, and politics to discuss and advance Digital Humanism. His efforts aim to sustainably embed Digital Humanism in Austria's economy and society.
