Raimund Binder

Raimund Binder was born in St. Pölten in 1960. After studying mechanical engineering at the Vienna University of Technology, he completed a doctorate in technical sciences at the same university. Raimund Binder also completed a postgraduate course at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and has been a volunteer with the Lower Austrian Red Cross for many years.

He started his professional career in 1988 as a university assistant at the Vienna University of Technology, moved to the IT department of Interunfall Versicherung in 1993, then to Generali Versicherung in 1998 and has been involved in the financial sector ever since. Raimund Binder was first head of department, then a member of the extended management of Generalis Service AG and from 2002 managing director of the IT subsidiary of Generali Vienna Holding AG.

At the beginning of 2006, he moved to the Wiener Städtische Group, where he worked as Managing Director of the IT subsidiary BIAC until the end of 2011 and then moved to the IT division of VIG Holding.

From 2013, Raimund Binder was Managing Director of Hagenberg Software GmbH, before being appointed Managing Director of msg systems GmbH in the fall of 2013.

Since then, Raimund Binder has remained loyal to the msg world and has held the position of Managing Director of msg Plaut Austria GmbH since August 2017. He has also been a member of the Management Board of msg Plaut AG since 2019 and is responsible for the Financial Services and Manufacturing divisions.
