The "Certified Supervisory Expert" certification is awarded by the UBIT Academy incite and focuses on relevant competences, experience, knowledge and skills of supervisory board members. It is the seal of quality for members of supervisory bodies.
On 18 January 2022, Dr Georg Krause, Chairman of the Management Board and Supervisory Board of msg Plaut, was also honoured with the award by Federal Minister Karoline Edtstadler and UBIT Chairman Alfred Harl.
For the entire msg Plaut Group and for me personally in my functions within and outside the msg Plaut Group, this further training is a step towards professionalisation. Important topics such as the protection of the company, the business judgement rule, information rights and obligations, but also legal framework conditions and compliance obligations were taught and examined in a practical manner. '', Dr Georg Krause recalls.
After a seminar on site lasting several days, the final examination took place in the form of a hearing with experienced experts who themselves hold supervisory positions.
More and more top officials are acquiring the quality seal for supervisory bodies. This means that it is internationally recognised and clear that members of supervisory boards have the relevant experience, skills and knowledge for responsible positions. For msg Plaut, too, this certification means that risks can be minimised and responsible action can be taken.
The Federal Minister confirmed the importance of high-quality training and diversity on supervisory boards - especially in times of crisis. And Alfred Harl added: "The mix of personal competence, professional training and a diverse composition of supervisory bodies are the be-all and end-all of good supervisory work here."
In total, there are about 530 people certified by incite (UBIT Academy), of which about a quarter are women.
